Automate Your Gaylord, Octabin & Bulk Bin Line with Precision & Safety
Automation Options
Build your perfect
Gaylord assembly line
Six modular add-ons. One seamless system. Choose the options that match your production goals, and let us handle the integration.
Every operation is different. The Brooks Machine Gaylord Robotic Assembly Station is engineered as a flexible platform. You can start with core functionality and layer in additional modules as your needs grow. All options are designed to work together and integrate cleanly with your existing fill stations, conveyors, and control systems.

Automatic Staplers
Fasten Gaylord box lids and panels with high-speed precision. Eliminates the inconsistency and injury risk of manual stapling, delivering a tight, repeatable result on every unit.
Programmable staple patterns for any Gaylord or Octabin size
Compatible with corrugated, reinforced, and multi-ply panels
Integrates with downstream conveyors automatically
Automatic Bag Inserter
Automatically opens, positions, and inserts a liner bag into each erected Gaylord or Octabin before it enters the fill zone. Ensures consistent bag placement with zero manual handling.
Works with standard polyethylene liner bags in multiple gauges
Bag-present sensor confirms placement before advancement
Critical for plastic pellet and food-grade produce applications

Robotic Lid Former & Placer
A FANUC robotic arm forms flat-packed lid blanks and places them precisely in or on filled Gaylords or Octabins. Eliminates one of the most labor-intensive steps in the line.
FANUC-powered with vision-guided placement
Forms and places in a single continuous motion
Handles multiple lid styles from flat blanks
Runs at full line speed without interruption

Extended Conveyor Lanes
Add accumulation length to your line so filled and closed Gaylords or Octabins queue safely before forklift removal. Decouples line speed from forklift availability, keeping production flowing.
Configure 2–12+ accumulation positions per lane
Heavy-duty roller or chain conveyor options
Full-stop accumulation prevents container damage
Fill Station Integration
Connect the assembly station directly to your existing or new fill system, whether gravity, auger, screw, or scale-based, for a fully continuous automated loop from pallet to filled & closed Gaylord.
Works with most OEM fill systems: we handle the interface
Automatic advance on fill-complete signal
Net-weight and gross-weight scale integration available
Ideal for resin pellet, grain, and produce operations

AMRs / AGVs for Pallet Distribution
Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) or Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) can autonomously deliver empty pallets to the infeed station and remove completed Gaylords, closing the loop on labor reduction.
Eliminates forklift dependency at pallet supply and discharge
Runs 24/7 without operator intervention
Scalable: add units as volume grows
Full integration with station PLC and WMS systems
